The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank serves the entire Kenai Peninsula, covering over 25,000 square miles. The only way that the food bank can successfully serve all our neighbors is through a network of over 70 agencies.
Agencies may “shop” for food once a week in the KPFB Warehouse. Agencies can select from the shelf stable foods, fresh produce donated and reclaimed from local stores and frozen meats. Agencies also benefit from special opportunities that are provided from the community and Feeding America.
To become an agency please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for an application. Agencies must be a 501 C(3) for more than one year. There is an annual agency fee of $100 and a $.19 per pound maintenance/handling fee. All agencies are invoiced monthly and can authorize multiple shoppers for their agency.
