Join us in making an impact in your community by becoming the diner manager for the food bank. This is a full-time, permanent position. On-the-job training is available. Ages 21 and up can apply.

The job involves: 

• Planning and preparing meals daily for our Fireweed Diner and for special events, utilizing food available at the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank
• Maintaining the Fireweed Diner and kitchen in accordance with DEC standards
• Managing a team of dedicated volunteers
• Using warehouse ordering and reporting software (Primarius)
• And more
