Are you hungry for change?

September is Hunger Action Month, when we ask everyone in our communities to take action against hunger on the Kenai Peninsula. Hunger Action Month is your opportunity to join a movement that has a real and lasting impact on our effort to feed more individuals and families facing food insecurity.

Over the past year, many families have found it difficult to make ends meet due to circumstances beyond their control. By providing people with food, they are more able to afford other essentials, like housing, medical care, and more.

Make a difference within your community by donating or volunteering. We here at KPFB want to help connect you to where your efforts are most needed. Consider spreading awareness about hunger on the peninsula, hosting a food drive, volunteering your time, or making a donation.
